Cut it even. Here's how to get the most out of Slicey.

Slicey can't find my food

Move the phone slowly over the table for a few seconds so it can see the surface, and make sure the whole pizza, pie, or cake is in view. Good light helps. If it picks the wrong thing, like the plate, tap the food. You can always tap "Place by hand" and tap the center and then the edge yourself.

The lines are a little off

Drag to move the center, pinch to resize, and twist with two fingers to turn the cuts. You can do this on the live view or on the lifted picture.

Does it work on any iPhone?

Scanning needs an iPhone that supports AR. iPhone Pro models with LiDAR are the most accurate, especially for cakes and food on a tilt. "Use a photo" works on every iPhone.

Does it work on square cakes?

Not yet. Slicey is made for round food for now.
